Secretary-General Holds Talks with Minister of External Affairs of Ireland; Receives Degree at Trinity College

Secretary-General U Thant, who is visiting Dublin at the invitation of the Government of Ireland, today had a private conversation with Frank Aitken, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of External Affairs of Ireland. Following the talks, the Secretary-General attended a special commencement ceremony at Trinity College, where he received an honorary degree, and then attended a reception.
