UNMISS Peacekeepers Visit Juba Orphanage
More than seventy military, police and civilian personnel serving with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) spent a Saturday at Juba Orphanage, a government-run centre that is home to more than fifty orphans ranging in age from several months to nineteen years old. UNMISS groups visit regularly, and work alongside the children to clean the buildings inside and out and to manicure the grounds. They also share a meal and enjoy some playtime.
