This shelter for unaccompanied boys is run by NGO Praksis. Established in 2004, it focuses on psychosocial support of vulnerable persons, including refugees and asylum seekers, unaccompanied children and migrants. The unaccompanied children’s centre provides specialized accommodation for 24 children between the ages of 8 and 17. Most of Syrian, but a number are from Afghanistan.

In the current refugee emergency, UNHCR is supporting the creation of around 600 bed places in shelters for unaccompanied children in the country, offering a package of support services.
