The fourth session of Syria's Constitutional Committee facilitated by the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen begun Monday (30 Nov) in Geneva and will continue until Friday (4 Dec).
The delegations, led by co-chair Ahmad Kuzbari, representing the Syrian government, and co-chair Hadi Albahra for the Opposition, arrived at the Palais del Nations and were greeted by Pedersen.
The Constitutional Committee first convened in October last year. The planned second round of talks, scheduled for November was postponed over disagreements on the agenda, and since then has been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
