Only by working with all of our partners can we accomplish that ultimate goal – a goal that has in Lebanon proven elusive but is not out of reach. Today, I reiterate my call for all of us, and our partners, to strengthen our commitment to peace, and to the progress and greater prosperity for the people that will certainly follow.”

The UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Monday (30 May) marked the International Day of UN peacekeepers during a ceremony at its headquarters in Naqoura,south Lebanon.
