Grossi warned, “the possibility of a nuclear accident with serious radiological consequences continues to be a reality. And we, hope this will not happen.”

The Director-General continued, “We have established five main principles at the United Nations Security Council, few months ago, and we urge everybody to observe those. The agency will continue working, of course, there.”

On Iran, Grossi said that the Agency “hope and expect far more cooperation” from the Iranian government.

He said, “There are many areas that are clear to us. They were encapsulated in the joint statement that I signed in Tehran much forth. And, we need more cooperation in this very important area.”
