Briefing reporters on Lebanon today (04 Dec) in New York, Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesperson for the Secretary-General, said, “this follows the reported deaths of three people in Lebanon following exchanges of fire on 1 December.”

Dujarric continued, “UNIFIL reiterates its call for all actors to exercise utmost restraint, to avoid further escalation, and to return to a cessation of hostilities immediately.”
