Storyline

The World Health Organization (WHO) and partners completed a mission to Al-Ahli Arab and Al-Sahaba hospitals in northern Gaza on Saturday, both hospitals are functioning with limited capacity, and lack food, fuel, specialised staff, anaesthetic drugs, antibiotics and internal fixation devices.

WHO delivered orthopedic and trauma items for 150 patients and 13,000L of fuel to Al-Ahil Arab hospital, and 12,000L of fuel to Al-Sahaba hospital.
WHO continues to call for a ceasefire and sustained, safe access to health facilities in order to supply hospitals with urgently needed lifesaving healthcare on a regular basis.
