“After two weeks, we came back to Kamal Adwan in order to ensure the rotation of the emergency medical team that was previously deployed here. They did an immense job. The support that they give to this hospital was outstanding and highly appreciated by the management of the hospital and by all their colleagues.”

“After we sent out several distress calls, thank God today, the World Health Organization provided a lot of very important medicines and supplies to Kamal Adwan Hospital. We hope for more and more medical equipment, supplies and medicines, so we can continue to cover Gaza and the north, especially after Al-Shifa Hospital went out of service.”

“We also facilitated the deployment of another Emergency Medical Team who is going to support Al-Awda Hospital on orthopaedic care.”

“We are from Norway. And we are coming here to help the people. We are a surgical team with two orthopaedic surgeons and one anaesthesiologist and me, myself, an OR nurse. And we look really forward to help the people here in the North.”

“At Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, we received today a delegation from NORWAC through the World Health Organization. This delegation is composed of a group of doctors, orthopaedists and anaesthesiologists, in addition to an intensive care doctor. This is to help the doctors at Al-Awda Hospital to provide services to the injured in the northern Gaza Strip.”

On 6 April, the World Health Organization (WHO) and partners reached Al-Awda and Kamal Adwan hospitals in north Gaza to deliver essential medical supplies and 12,000 litres of fuel each. An international emergency medical team was also deployed to Al-Awda hospital to support trauma response.
