UN Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) supported a 5-day workshop at the Juba National Prison on managing and maintaining prison security.
As part of its larger mandate to protect civilians, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) supports rule of law actors by building capacities among prison officials.

Prison officers received hands-on training to control crowds, prevent riots, and provide lifesaving interventions during emergencies.
