“Here are some of the 1.2 million vaccine doses that UNICEF is bringing to the Gaza Strip. The objective is to lead a large-scale vaccination campaign against polio virus Type two in cooperation with WHO, UNRWA and other partners. The objective is to have more than 640,000 children below the age of ten vaccinated against polio in Gaza.”

United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is bringing 1.2 million doses of polio vaccine type 2 (nOPV) to Gaza. With the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and other partners, the objective is to vaccinate more than 640,000 children.
