“Prime Minister Najib Mikati is working with the government teams to deal with the aggression that we are victim to at all levels, diplomatic, humanitarian, health, security, and also in terms of people's livelihoods. We're seeing a wave of exodus and seeing residential areas being targeted following the massacre that killed more than 3,000 people citizens in Beirut and the Bekaa.”

“We are seeing the destruction of large areas of agricultural land and residential buildings in the majority of the regions of Lebanon, this has damaged the economy of our country and threatened our social order, especially after many countries have requested their citizens to leave Lebanon.”

“The Global Summit on the Future is convening at a critical time when humanity urgently needs dialogue, reflection, and consideration of the significant risks threatening international security and peace. The international system has witnessed cases of disintegration, violence, and a lack of commitment to universal values and binding charters, necessitating efforts to restore confidence in the global system.”

At the Summit of the Future Plenary today (23 Sep) in New York, Bahia El Hariri said, “We’re seeing a wave of exodus and seeing residential areas being targeted following the massacre that killed more than 3,000 people citizens in Beirut and the Bekaa.”
She continued, “We are seeing the destruction of large areas of agricultural land and residential buildings in the majority of the regions of Lebanon, this has damaged the economy of our country and threatened our social order, especially after many countries have requested their citizens to leave Lebanon.”
