"The fate of Ukraine is closely tied to peace and security in Europe and around the world. Who will still believe they are protected from their stronger neighbors—the more violent and the greedier—if we allow Russia to take what it wants as if nothing happened? Nobody. It is therefore in our interest, a common interest of nations, that Ukraine is restored to its legitimate rights as quickly as possible, and that a just and lasting peace is established."

"It is imperative that a new phase opens in Gaza, that the weapons fall silent, that humanitarian workers return, and that civilians are finally protected."

“France demands that everyone respect their obligations regarding the Blue Line. We will take action to highlight an essential diplomatic path to protect civilians and prevent regional escalation. There must not be, there cannot not be war in Lebanon."

“Reform of the composition alone of the Security Council is not sufficient to make it more effective. I also wish for reform to change the operational methods, to limit the right to a veto in case of mass crimes, and to focus on the operational decisions to maintain international peace and security."
