“After Sham received her treatment, her leg is not recovering at all because her wound is not healing well. She also has a bone infection, therefore Sham, by God’s will, is traveling tomorrow to Romania to continue her treatment.”

“When we were displaced during the war, she had a bleeding condition, and we went to a hospital, where they gave us an urgent transfer, and hopefully by God’s will things will work out with our treatment trip to Romania, and we are very happy that we are leaving Gaza, and hopefully things will work out.:

Eight patients, including seven children, have been evacuated from Gaza for specialized medical care in Romania.
They traveled along with 24 companions.
This medical evacuation was supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) in collaboration with the European Union and Romania.
WHO works with partners to arrange these patient evacuations, ensuring there is food, shelter, transportation and approvals in place.
There are well over 10,000 people who need medical evacuation.
