“I am here in Gaza, in a church in Gaza. Needless to say, that churches, mosques, civilians, and all civilian infrastructures must be protected. They can only be protected by the end of this war, by a ceasefire. I am here today in the church. I met with the father, and I met with many others, and as you see, I am sitting here with the children who are displaced. Those children deserve to go back to their homes. Those children that you see here are the hope of the future, and without education, without proper health care, there will be no bright future. I am appealing to everybody to end this war. We are praying for peace. Again, I am here appealing from this church in Gaza to end this war for the sake of these children, for the sake of the future, but also for the sake of a better future for all of us in this region."
