“The situation in the Gaza Strip remains very volatile and complicated, with these strikes resuming in the early hours of the morning yesterday and some continuing into the night last night. We've of course, received reports, horrifying reports, of hundreds of people being killed and injured, including many children. We're also receiving reports of people being displaced, including as a result of the evacuation orders that were issued yesterday. This, of course, comes on top of an already very complicated situation in which the crossings for the entry of cargo and humanitarian assistance have been closed for more than two weeks.”
