“We are the WHO Warehouse in Khan Younis. We just arrived with our medical cargo containing cholera kits, medical supplies, and other items that will be delivered in the next 48 hours to the main health facilities still operating in the Gaza Strip.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Thursday (23 Oct) brought 238 pallets of medical supplies into Gaza through Kerem Shalom. The supplies included insulin, cholera kits, assistive devices and other essential medicines and supplies.

WHO has over 2000 pallets of medical supplies ready to dispatch via Jordan, Egypt, Dubai, West Bank and Jerusalem. Additionally, WHO currently has USD 4.5 million in supplies stored at the Dubai Hub ready for dispatch depending upon the priorities of the response.
