Security Council Meets on Maintenance of International Peace and Security

Yamazaki Kazuyuki, Permanent Representative of Japan and President of the Security Council for the month of March, chairs the Security Council meeting on maintenance of international peace and security.

Security Council members voted on the provisional agenda of the meeting on maintenance of international peace and security. The result of the vote was 6 votes in favour and 9 abstentions. The provisional agenda was not adopted, having failed to obtain the required number of votes.
