Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, Maltese Foreign Minister and UNRWA Commissioner-General Brief Press

Philippe Lazzarini (at podium), Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), briefs the press on the topics he will address in the upcoming Security Council meeting, scheduled immediately after this press conference. These topics will include the operational challenges UNRWA is confronted with, calls for its dismantlement, and the steps the agency has taken to investigate allegations of staff involvement in the 7 October 2023 terrorist attacks in Israel.
