General Assembly Considers Future of Work and Abolition of Slavery

Courtenay Rattray, Permanent Representative of Jamaica to the United Nations, introduces two draft resolutions to the General Assembly; one on the ""International Labour Organization Centenary Declaration for the Future of Work"", and one on a ""Permanent memorial to and remembrance of the victims of slavery and the transatlantic slave trade"". Both resolutions were adopted.
