International Day of Non-Violence Commemorated at UN

Hardeep Singh Puri (right), Permanent Representative of India to the UN, addresses an event organized by his Mission commemorating the International Day of Non-Violence, on the theme "Non-Violence as an Instrument of Social Change", alongside Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (left). The day is celebrated annually 2 October, the birthday of non-violence pioneer Mahatma Gandhi.
