“My plan for the next 5 years is to own a house, a car, provide good education to the children, live with my family happily together. I believe that my life will be fulfilled.”

Former Myanmar refugee Thant Zin Maung returned home last year from Thailand. After years in a rural camp, he and his family are now adjusting to their new life in big city Yangon.

Thant Zin Maung and his family lived in a Thai camp for 10 years.
His boys were born there. Now the family has come home.
Thant Zin Maung is being trained to care for the elderly.

The return home has given the family hope.

More refugees in Thailand are considering returning to Myanmar.
