“Most of the buildings of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex were completely destroyed and burned, and there is such huge destruction in the buildings and in the facilities of the Ministry of Health. It is not possible to work in Al-Shifa Medical Complex like this again. Al-Shifa Medical Complex is gone forever.”

“This medical complex used to contain seven hundred and fifty beds, and more than twenty-six operating rooms, thirty-two intensive care rooms, and a central laboratory for the Ministry of Health, a dialysis department with a capacity of fifty-two beds. Treating four hundred fifty patients a day, and an emergency department with the capacity of sixty-two beds. The number of people visiting the emergency department annually was more than a quarter of a million, and more than seventeen thousand operations were performed annually in this complex.”
